Cordelia Karn, whose outstanding skills and accomplishments set her apart from others in the industry, is a great example of this. Cordelia is an entrepreneur, early childhood educator, and childcare coach.
“My name is Cordelia. I am a mompreneur, teacher, and early learning educator. I am the owner and educator at Brillkidz Edventure. With over 10 years of experience working with children and families, including 5 years dedicated to early education, I bring a wealth of knowledge and passion to my work. My journey into early childhood education was inspired by my experiences as a stay-at-home mom, where I sought the best care and educational opportunities for my children. This led me to create a unique program for working families where children can play, make new friends, and learn in a safe and nurturing environment.
I hold a degree in Early Childhood Education Development and am a proud graduate of the Starting Your Family Child Care Business class of 2020 from WomenVenture. During the COVID lockdown, I successfully pivoted to teaching online preschool classes and launched my family childcare business, Brillkidz Edventure,” said Cordelia. Brillkidz EDVenture Preschool is a home-based preschool and childcare learning center located in Otsego City, providing high-quality education to children from birth to 5 years old. Our belief in play-based learning and structured teaching has led us to devote 2.5 hours daily to teaching children basic, STEAM, and lifelong skills.
Especially in the early childhood education sector, women are becoming more and more active in entrepreneurship. The next wave of women entrepreneurs may achieve excellent success in today’s fiercely competitive business environment if they have mentors and role models in the workplace. In addition to serving as role models, female ECE entrepreneurs such as Cordelia can also serve as business mentors and coaches.

Cordelia is certified in First Aid, CPR, and Early Childhood Education, which enable her to deliver educational and play-based activities that foster psychological, emotional, behavioral, and social development in children.
Due to her extensive experience and outstanding accomplishments, Cordelia has become a model for the next wave of female early childhood educators and entrepreneurs.
